How to find us

From Macclesfield
Take the A523 towards Leek carrying straight on at the Bosley Crossroads where the A54 crosses the A523. Enter Rushton Spencer and at the Royal Oak Pub go straight on up the hill onto Leek Old Road as the main road bears to the right. After 2km, as the road comes up a rise, there is a sign post labelled Scout Camp indicating a right turn. This is the entrance to Barnswood. Turn right along a track across a field for 500 meters to the site entrance.

From Leek
Take the A523 towards Macclesfield. Around 2km after the signs for Rudyard Lake, take the first turning on the right onto Leek Old Road. After 1km, as the road comes up a rise, there is a turn to the right. Carry straight on for 200 meters and there is a sign post labelled Scout Camp indicating a left turn. This is the entrance to Barnswood. Turn left along a track across a field for 500 meters to the site entrance.

From Congleton
Take the A54 from Congleton towards the Bosley Cross Roads. Turn right at the traffic lights and follow the directions as if travelling from Macclesfield.
