Meerbrook

This is one of our larger sized sites approx. 1368 m² which works out at a maximum of 91 campers at 15 m² per camper.  It is better suited to several small tents than few very large ones. It drains well, has its own car park space, and a water tap at the entrance.  Because of its long profile, equipment needs to be manually carried to the furthest reaches.  It is an excellent site for those wishing to get back to basics as there is no track lighting and a trek to the nearest toilet block 1.
NOTE: for summer 2023 it is not available for camping as it has been set up as a permanent archery range.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
