Embers Campfires

In 2020 Beavers, Cubs, Scout, Brownies and Guides from 300 groups from Australia and Kenya to Canada and New Zealand joined us for an evening of fun and laughter based around campfire songs. Embers 2020 was a smash hit.

By popular request Embers Campfire Festival returned on March 3rd 2023 at 18:30 GMT as part of celebrating the Road to WSJ 2023. Over 8,500 Cubs, Scouts, Beavers, Squirrels, Explorers as well as leaders and our friends from Guiding from all over the world got together around campfires to take part in Embers 2023.

Below is the link to the performances from 2023 and 2020, photos summitted by participants and maps highlighting where groups joined from alongside articles from the local papers.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
