Since 1964, Barnswood has welcomed Scouts, schools, and youth groups from across the region, a trusted place for outdoor learning, adventure, and time away from the everyday.
From patrol camps and group events to hikes, sleepouts, and large-scale expeditions, Barnswood has been part of the journey for thousands of young people over the decades.
With 19 unique camping pitches, indoor lodges, sheltered campfires, activity areas, and access to hiking routes, climbing spots, and watersports, it’s the ideal base for a wide range of experiences year after year.
