Discovery

This is a medium sized site approximately 323 m² which works out at a maximum of 22 campers at 15 m² per camper.  This site is away from others, yet close to the Warden’s Lodge. Parking is limited to one space outside the Beaver Fun Area so all equipment needs carrying from there via the 30-metre track to site.  The nearest water point is at toilet block 2 located on the entrance track. This site is naturally sloped and has good drainage a popular site for groups wanting isolated camping experience.

The pricing shown on the booking system below will generate the deposit for your booking. Please see the Booking price sheet for the full cost of your booking.

Check the availability of the campsite and enter the dates that you want to book and an indication of the number of adults and children. You will be invoiced £10 per night for a non refundable deposit. This will generate a provisional booking and once the deposit is paid, your booking will be confirmed. Once your visit has concluded, we will ask you to confirm the numbers that attended and we will forward you a final invoice.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
