Training Ground Activity Area

The Training ground is 20m by 35m with a gentle slope. It is where we ask you to play ball games e.g. football this is because there is a special membrane under the soil to help prevent too much damage to this site. We ask that you don’t use other sites for ball games as they don’t have this additional protection. You can set up your own activities on here. You will need to book it to ensure its availability.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
