This team is responsible for supporting our Lead Volunteers, and their teams, with local delivery of Scouting across our groups.
They create opportunities for peer to peer support, keep volunteers up to date with the programme, and provide links in to the wider District team to help solve problems that may arise.
As well as support for Group Lead Volunteers, the team also provide similar support for volunteers who deliver Scouting in our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts sections. They co-ordinate district activities, events and competitions as well as promote wider opportunities for young people offered by Cheshire Scouts or The Scouts UK.

District Squirrels Lead : Caroline Smith
Caroline and Helen lead our 4 – 6 year old provision – “Squirrels”.
Squirrels first opened at Dane Valley, Congleton and at 1st Hursdfield, Macclesfield in 2023.
We aim to establish a Squirrels Dray in every group by 2030!
