Is there on site parking?
Yes! We have several parking areas located around the site, making it easy for visitors to find a convenient spot close to where they need to be.
What toilet/shower facilities are there?
There are plenty of toilet and shower facilities available across the site to make your stay comfortable. We have multiple toilet blocks located in convenient areas, with showers provided in Blocks 1 and 4. In addition, Pine Lodge includes its own indoor toilets and showers, offering extra convenience for groups staying there.
What activities are available on site?
We offer a wide range of activities including orienteering, pioneering, and nature activity packs. There are also dedicated areas for archery, climbing, and campfires, which must be booked in advance. You can also explore a number of off-site activity areas. Can we bring our own tents or do you provide accommodation?
You’ll need to bring your own tents, but we also have three buildings available for indoor accommodation. Read more here.
Is there a campfire area or firewood available?
Yes! We have two main areas, our open-air campfire circle and the sheltered dome. Firewood can be foraged from around the site, or you can bring your own. We just ask that you restock any wood used for the next group.
Are pets allowed on site?
No. Only assistance dogs such as guide or support dogs are permitted on site.
Do you have catering or kitchen facilities?
Yes. Each building booking includes access to a fitted kitchen (pans and utensils not included). Cooking equipment can be hired for an additional charge.
Are there any nearby shops or places to buy supplies?
There are several shops nearby, including some that offer delivery. You can find a full list here.
Are day visits allowed, or is it overnight only?
