Providing Nights Away experiences are an integral part of the programme for all sections in scouting – even the new Squirrel section!
Now the weather is improving, our thoughts are turning to getting back under canvas or planning indoor sleepovers. The District Nights Away Team are planning to hold a Nights Away Skills Camp for any leader who is looking to apply for a Nights Away Permit, existing permit holders who want to move from indoor to campsite permits or brush up on their skills as their permit has lapsed in the past.
The agenda will cover all aspects of planning a camp either indoor or on a campsite and if there are any particular areas that you want to cover, there will be an opportunity to input into the planning of the weekend to cover those areas.
