Green Man Beaver Sleepover

Date: 29th May 2025 Author: Ian Mackintosh
50 beavers enjoyed exploring Barnswood looking for the Green Man. With great excitement the Maze was thoroughly explored but he wasn’t there, he was nowhere to be seen on the starlight walk, nowhere on beaver base and didn’t join us for a picnic. Eventually he was found at the bottom of our puddings!
Additional to this,  beavers completed their Outdoor Award by pitching tents, lighting fires, learning about the wild life on Barnswood, making bug hotels, tying knots and creating their own picture of the Green Man from naturally occurring materials.
A good night’s sleep was had by most people.
Many thanks to all the leaders who helped make this a memorable event.
